…but God

My middle son is 17 years old, he has an IQ of 72 and has been diagnosed with Mild Intellectual Disability and on the Spectrum. He is pretty self sufficient and can stay home by himself for hours if needed. I don’t know if he’ll ever be able to live on his own (even though he desires a big two story house and a Tesla vehicle) 😊 but maybe.
Anyways, while looking back at old answered prayers, I remember when he was just 2 years old, couldn’t talk well at all, was having staring spells (later to find out epilepsy), very, very hyperactive, etc. He was put on medicine for Epilepsy (which caused irritability and mood changes). I was fearful he wouldn’t be able to talk and be on medicine his entire life. I prayed to the Lord for him to stop having seizures and be taken off the medicine, for him to be able to speak, and him to calm down and stop getting in trouble at school. It took about about 10 years (give or take) “..but God was with him and rescued him from all his trouble” He has not been on medication for many years, he can speak (a lot sometimes 😂) and he may not be good at school work but he is a well behaved student (and teachers compliment on that often).

He has learned to make himself easy meals if he’s home by himself or make the family lunch (frozen pizza’s, canned chili, ramen noodles etc). I remember hearing someone mention on here (or maybe H@L, L@L)?? about possibly sharing quick and easy recipes. I did print off the items from W@H but was wondering if there has been a blog or post with any other recipes I can share with him.
