Hello, dear ladies!
This past month was a month of intense trials, for both Astrid and me. We both caught a very bad case of the flu, which lasted for a whole month.
We had to go to the hospital several times because of Astrid's severe headaches and earaches. I, thanks to my Beloved Lord, didn't have severe pains like our Astrid, but the flu left me very weak, coughing, and voiceless. I can't deny that it was a frightening time having to rush to the hospital emergency room at night, with Astrid screaming in pain.
But, dear ladies, I can tell you that my Beautiful HH never abandoned us! I could feel Him at all times, guiding me to go to the hospital at the right time. I could feel Him placing kind and attentive nurses to care for us and calm us, and doctors who, used by Him, cared for Astrid. My Beloved even used the eh to care for us both during this time, bringing groceries home and accompanying us to the hospital.
The Lord has also been working deeply in my spouse's heart, showing him that Astrid and I were uniquely created by Him, that we don't need to be "fixed" because we aren't sick, as the world often wants us to believe. He has shown my spouse that we simply see the world differently than so-called neurotypicals, and that's okay because He created us that way.
I'm thrilled to see how my spouse has grown closer to the Lord and interested in better understanding the relationship Astrid and I have with Him. And it's an indescribable joy to see my spouse and Astrid reconnecting, both with hearts open to forgiveness. This is only possible thanks to our Beloved, who turns our hearts!
I know He still has many blessings for us! The Lord's best is yet to come!!
